TAX NOTICES

Tax notices were emailed out on July 21st and mailed on July 22nd. If you haven’t received your notice, please contact the office.

In 2013, $160 was added onto the base tax to go into a “Community Hall Fund”. This was to pay back the funds taken from a reserve account to contribute to the construction of the Burstall & District Community Hall. As this has now been paid back, the base tax will no longer reflect this amount.

This year, the $10 per month or/ $110 annual paving fee on the utility billing was removed and added onto the base tax. These funds will not be tracked separately for only paving costs but will however become part of the general operating revenue.

Council did not change the base tax bylaw or mill rate from 2024. Additional base tax revenue became part of the general operating revenue.  For a full budget breakdown, contact the office.
